Digital Video Recorders (DVR's) are able to accept the input from conventional wired or wireless cameras (via a wireless Transmitter / Receiver link). They do not accept signals from Internet or IP Cameras that use the computers network to transmit signals.

Typically supplied in 4, 9 or 16 camera input units (how many caneras they can service) these units can be viewed across a computer network with remote viewing software.
